  • I was always teased and bullied in school. I was told in high school to stop talking to my male best friend whom I had known, and still know, since Kindergarten. If I didn’t, this girl said that she was going to kick my axx. I got tired of her threats, and I told her that I wasn’t going to stop talking to him, ever! If she wanted to fight, then let’s fight. But I wasn’t going to do what she wanted me to do because she kept threatening me. She was also spreading rumors about me around high school. Once I stood up to her, she stopped!

  • My son was bullied in primary school. The problem was not resolved but fortunately for him, it was his last year in primary school and he started secondary school in a new school where there was no bullying.

  • My son was bullied in middle school for 3 years but he wouldn’t tell me because he thought if I told the principal, the bullying would get worse which it did until the police got involved.

  • I never dealt with real bullying, just some bully-like friends, but I knew kids at school who were bullied. I guess my parents raised me right, because I always befriended them and was nice to them. I ran into one of them the other day at the store (a boy from my grade with special needs who had been bullied throughout our school years who I was always nice to) and he was doing really well, really happy, which made me so glad to see. Sometimes all it takes is one person to stand up with the kids being bullied to help those kids make it through.

My daughter had that problem to, and pregnant and all I remember running down the street after that little twerp so I could find out where she lived and I took care of the matter. Thanks for this fabulous opportunity! Sure would help big time in my house.

  • I was bullied by my step mother. My older sons now 23 and 20 bullied for being homosexual. My 9 year old has been “picked on” for being short and thin. We recently found out that he has a disability that has attributed to these conditions and are taking the necessary steps to help him. He has informed his “friends” at school of his disability and he has quickly found out who is true friends are. They have been warm and responsive to him and his needs. They have also taken it upon themselves to report anyone and everyone who has decided to bully my son. Some of his “true” friends as he calls them are surprisingly 4th and 5th graders where he is a 3rd grader. So yes, we are dealing with bullying and do not tolerate it. Thank you for the support.
