Bnter.com (pronounced “banter”), a social network designed for capturing conversations, proves a modern way to save those precious moments and share them with family members, friends, and followers. Web- and app-based, Bnter.com can be accessed from your laptop, ipad, or smart phone. Simple to use, free and fun, Bnter.com offers an organized means of sharing those funny moments in a more visually appealing way than simply sharing them in your Facebook or Twitter stream.
Signing up for Bnter.com is super easy- a quick username, password and email address and you are set to go. You will have an email in your inbox verifying you are not a robot, which is par for the course with everything these days. Next you’ll be asked if you want to find Facebook or Twitter friends who may already be on Bnter.com- I opted to check out the Twitter feed- very simple and very easy, and the program found lots of my Twitter pals already registered with Bnter.com. Easy! Now I can keep track of those who have kids- especially when I need a good laugh, or reassurance that my children are not the only odd ones at times…without having to plow through hundreds of Twitter updates.
I definitely think this could be a great way to document and save some of those memorable conversations, discussions and happenings with your children. I know I’ve had some Facebook status updates over the years that involve the kids that were hilarious- I’d never be able to go through them all to regain the status update as written, during whatever it was that happened- so I can see myself using a site like Bnter.com for all things kid related- you just never know when something will be a “thing” that you remember forever with the kids, so why not keep track? Better safe than sorry!
Plus, I love keeping up on how other people’s kids are doing- I love hearing the things they say and do, and seeing their pictures as they grow older. I’ve teared up at preschool graduation photos of friends’ children I’ve never met in person- and to be honest, some of their moms I haven’t ever met in person, only “know’ through the internet, but we share a connection and I love seeing the changes and growth in all of their children.
Using Bnter.com so far is very easy, very user friendly, and pretty fun. There are even recommendations from staff members at Bnter.com for folks to follow (and I did follow a few of those, some have some great posts to read!!) in case not many of your friends are on Bnter to follow just yet.
“I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of the Bnter Campaign and received a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.”[ad#glam between posts]
