Dove Men+Care partners with Operation Homefront (Giveaway, 4 winners)

This giveaway post about the Dove Men+Care partnership with Operation Homefront to support military families in need is sponsored.  Opinions are my own.  Dove Men+Care is working to reunite 300 military members with their families.  With so many families apart because of military efforts around the globe, it’s nice to see the happy endings, when families get to reunite- so often we see and hear about the sad stories and the unhappy endings.  Below, you can see John meeting his infant son for the first time.  (There’s a video and you won’t want to miss it but you also will want a tissue. Or three).  Even if you don’t personally know a family who’s got a loved one serving in the military apart from their family, you can easily see from this short video what an impact it can, will and does have on the family members- both at home and away.  It’s a great reminder of the sacrifices others are giving when they have loved ones who serve in the military.

Dove’s long been a brand we use in our home, although my husband only recently discovered the Men+Care line and he’s been very pleased with all that he’s tried.  I like that when we are purchasing the Dove Men+Care line, we are able to support Dove in it’s mission to care for our troops with Operation Homefront.  My husband is happy with the price, quality and performance of the men’s care line.

    • Nichole if you are using this for your entry, it won’t count. You need to speak to something in the video- the sponsor wants to be sure people are watching it 🙂

  • It made me cry. It was so touching. I really feel for these soldiers that are fighting for our freedom and need to be away from their families for so long.

  • Well, it made me tear up and left a lump in my throat. My son’s teacher last year was in the Air National Guard and his unit got called up to go to Afghanistan and he’d just gotten engaged to be married. I love watching these kinds of videos, also the videos of the dogs who get to see their owners come back after serving overseas.

  • I have a nephew in the Marines and he has a young baby and wife and I thought of him as I watched the video. I can’t image how hard it is when he will have to go away in the near future. These men are hero’s.
