Being on Nutrisystem, I’ve had to actually have a scale in my house for the first time since I went away to college. I’m totally serious. I’ve never had one. Over the years maybe a roommate or two had them but honestly, I’d not know if they did. I realized when I was accepted into that program, that I ‘d better get a scale fast so I could keep track of my progress!
I’ve heard such great things about the Eat Smart brand, and when the new Precision GoFit Digital Body Fat Scale came out, I jumped at the chance to check it out. (Not literally. I don’t mean I jumped ONTO the scale. I didn’t want to risk cracking it or something…)Not only am I able to weigh myself (and each of the kids, every single time I weigh in, they each have to be weighed too. They line up.), but I can also check other stats for myself if need be, like body fat.

|My scale is covered in tiny fingerprints. My kids love this thing. They love the blue backlight, and they love the numbers- not that they mean much to the kids, but they love seeing them appear. I prefer to see them decreasing, but I digress. I’ve been really happy with this scale in the few weeks I’ve had it. I won’t lie, it’s kind of hard to not jump on the scale every single morning to see if I have any weight change (hopefully down) but I’m getting better and better the longer the scale is here in the house. One day, perhaps we’ll have a bathroom where I can put it out of sight until I need to use it but for now, I’m learning self-control. Of course, the blue light behind the numbers means its REALLY easy to read the scale from across the room. Unfortunately for me, my 5 year old can read and is very curious. I have to be very crafty about when I stand on that scale or my exact weight may well be broadcast to everyone she meets!! (She’s very enthusiastic in her support of her mama’s journey to be a healthier mom).
I really like that this scale shows small increments- so if I lose .3 lbs, it shows me. Having a small loss (or gain) is better than none (or at least, you know you gained a little and can be more careful). Plus, its all sleek and futuristic-looking. It is pretty cool that an object so small can do so many things! You can purchase EatSmart scales like this one at EatSmartproducts.comI received a sample of this product to facilitate my review.
