First Aid Kit Necessities (with savings) #Moms4JNJConsumer

This first aid kit necessities post is part of the HEALTHY ESSENTIALS® 2014 program by Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies, Inc. and The Motherhood, who sent me a box of products and compensated me for my time. Opinions, experiences and photos shared here are all my own, and I hope you enjoy them.

Some of you probably don’t know that I lovingly joke to my husband that he’s Safety Man.  (If you are ever in Manchester, CT watching the Thanksgiving Road Race, there’s no correlation). He’s just a very safety conscious guy, and one of the things he’s really insistent on is having fully stocked first aid kits around.  I have one in my van, he’s got one in the boat, we have one in the bag for the pool club, and we have one here in the house. I have a mini one I keep in my purse.

  • It’s a good idea to have a first aid kit in your house and in your car, and if you can, carry a mini kit in your purse. You never know when you’ll need a first aid kit.

  • I have a first aid kit in the house & in my car. I use to have a mini one in my purse which I need to put back in my makeup case…..thanks for this reminder.

  • I keep one in the house and one in each car for the just incase! I try to check it twice a year to make sure nothing is expired and needs to be replaced. I also keep children’s Tylenol and Benadryl in all of them as well.

  • Great list! I always keep a first aid kit in each of our car in case of emergencies and one in the house. You never know what can happen especially with kids.

  • I keep one in my car. I’m glad to see that I pretty much have all my bases covered in that kit.

  • I keep a first aid kit in the house and in the car. Now is a good time for me to check and see if anything needs to be replenished.
