Sometimes, as a parent, you really just have to sit there and wonder what on earth could possibly be going through their heads.  This is what our 6.5 year old came down to get help with at 9:30 on Sunday night.

the things kids do

45 minutes it took me, to get that mess undone.

What have YOUR kids done that just makes no sense at all?

  • My daughter (like me) has a TON of hair. Everything seems to get caught in it. The worst is when she dresses herself and gets her hair caught on several buttons. This is usually on the back of a dress and only when it is over her head. I have patiently undone many of them with only a few minor scissor interventions.

  • oh you are patient. I would’ve just lopped it off with scissors and thrown the doll away.
It is probably for the best that God has not given me a girl (yet!) :) LOL.
    TOTALLY funny photo though! :)

  • OH no poor girl! lol, hopefully u can now just laugh about it. My 3 yr old gets his hair caught in the wheels of his battery operated trains a few times a week and OMG can those pesky things eat up a huge chunk of his hair. its even sadder when he comes to me and shows me he ripped it out before he even showed me it got stuck . owie!

  • Wow! How did she even do that? LOL As crazy as it is, I could totally see that happening in my house, though. Kids do the strangest things!

  • My son has ADHD and every movement of his body has me wondering. On the other hand, when he is sitting still, I worry more.
