Who’s Frankie Stein, you say?

Frankie Stein, the daughter of Frankenstein’s monster and his bride, is the new ghoul at the school Monster High, having only been alive for 15 days. She’s friendly and athletic, never wasting time being negative, but has a clumsy streak, as her body parts tend to fly off. She is also very naive; due to her very young age, she doesn’t know much about life and the typical ups and downs of teenage life.

Random Fact brought to you by Monster High: There are 4 Friday the 13ths this Leap Year!

  • I think it was so cool of Mattel to do a promotion like this. With 4 Friday the 13th’s this year, it really is the year of the Monster! I buy these Monster High dolls for my little sister, and I must admit I go nuts trying to find them sometimes! This promotion was really cool, and I think it was a fun way to give back to the consumer. Its great to see Frankie Stein in Black & White, a great throwback to the original Frankenstein (her pops!). I did buy the Doll at Walmart, but I also saw her @ TRU. Kudos to Mattel, on giving back to the fans. Just wish there was a commercial to promote it, so more kids would have known! Also, since it’s 2012, maybe a Mayan Princess doll is in order…? :) Thanks again!

  • ADORE the new Frankie Stein doll. Mattel seems to always supply a good look for her, and this new beach line is no exception. I am especially digging the black and white aspect, as most people couldn’t get their hands on the original black and white Frankie due to her being an exclusive. Frankie with short hair is also a plus- I love the long, style-able hair of the dolls, but it’d be nice to see more short hair.
