>My 2011 resolutions include…

That’s it.  My resolution.  Do more…andthenfillintheblankwithanapplicableactivity.

Date nights with Mr. Bargains- these need to be a priority.  You would all be disappointed if you knew how rarely they happen.  We need them.  We need to be Mr. and Mrs. Bargains and not just mom and dad.

Crafts.  Games.  Book reading, nature exploring.

Cooking new things.  Making one new recipe a month (I can’t get all crazy or anything, so 1x a month I can live with).

Do more.  I resolve to do more of many things.

Oh, and since I fell OFF the exercise wagon last March, and then flipped it over, smashed it to bits and used the shards of wood to light a campfire and make s’mores, my resolution to do more does, my friends, include DOING more physically, so that I can be a good, healthy example for my kids…and because taking care of me matters just as much as taking care of them.

Your turn- what are your resolutions?

  • >I could have written this exact list of resolutions…the date nights, more reading and games…the new meals…the less No ing and more hugging. and the smore thing had me laughing out loud here at 5:11 AM. I really need to be more active too, even with some physical limitations, I know am getting soft and stagnant in so many areas of body and life. Wish you well in 2011!

  • >I used to be a super duper organized and disciplined person. Once I had a baby and knew I was staying home for awhile to raise kids, it's like I got REALLY lazy. everything was "it can get done tomorrow" or "I'm home all day tomorrow, I'll get to it then." Oh, and then I became addicted to blogging… need I say more? 🙂 Needless to say, chaos has ensued. I have a ton of goals and specific resolutions but basically it boils down to "GET IT TOGETHER GIRL!" 🙂
