V2 Cigs is having a 20% off promotion right now through February 28, 2013.  Why, you ask, am I sharing a coupon for anything relating to smoking?  Well, a few months ago I’d have been offended at the idea that I’d post something like this. But in talking to many others- other bloggers, friends, and more…I’ve learned that there are many folks who have been able to quit smoking thanks to electronic cigarettes, which is worth taking a look at.  I’m of the opinion that if you can find something that helps you to quit smoking and it works for you, you should go with that.  If the end result is that you aren’t smoking anymore, that’s a win for you and your loved ones.

I’m not a dummy. I know so many people who smoke- even people in my daily life who don’t tell me they do- I can tell. I can smell it a mile away.  My feeling is, if you are going to continue, at least continue with the least harmful products.  I’ve seen that ecigarettes are purported to be less harmful to your body, and hey! Maybe you’ll be able to cut way back on your smoking, at the very least, or ultimately be able to stop all together.  You can find reviews on different kinds of e-cigarettes at ecigarettesreviewed.com (the largest source for electronic cigarette product reviews).

I’m not one to judge.  In fact, truth be told, I’ve smoked cigarettes in my lifetime.  I never will again, but yes, I have done it.  Stopping for me wasn’t a big deal but I also wasn’t a heavy smoker at any point in time. My husband smoked as well.  He had a much harder time than I did when he stopped, and I have to wonder if ecigarettes would have helped him through the transition time.  If you are a smoker, you are already spending a good amount of money on cigarettes.  Why not spend a little on a different kind and see what happens?  You may surprise yourself and find you are able to cut back, or even stop!

  • Smoking is such a hard addiction to quit, watching my mom quit was enough for me to not even want to start smoking. I’ve never heard of electronic cigarettes, so glad they are coming out with new things to help people quit the habit. Thanks for sharing!

  • If it helps you quit. That is a bonus. I saw on the news that they want to test these out because they are not FDA approved. Hope they pass all the red tape. Smoking addiction is very hard to quit. I did but it was a challenge.

  • The best thing I EVER did was quit smoking 6 years ago. And I admit – I do judge. I judge people who still smoke. ESPECIALLY parents. After watching my grandfather die of emphysema – I will never put my children through having to see me like that. My grandpa didnt know any better. I do. And I wont do that to my girls.
