I know a few schools don’t start until the 10th but for the most part, everyone’s back into the swing of things…including sharing germs.  Kids in school=shared germs.  There’s no way to avoid it.  It happens every year.Kleenex’s Back to School Website has a lot of great tips for protecting your kids (and you) from those germs- and some FUN activities too!

  • Start buying for next year’s school supplies now while the sales and freebies are going on! Pick up a cheap 5 gallon container to keep them all in one place. I get the best deals AFTER school starts, many being free or close to it. You can always donate the extra items to your local schools, churches, goodwill, etc.

  • My best back to school tip is to make sure that I have a lot of school supplies on hand in case it is needed! I have plenty of pens, pencils, paper, etc.

  • Get school bags organized and ready the night before. Have the first day outfit picked out the night before also so there’s not a mad scramble in the morning. Plan the night ahead what will be for breakfast. Have any and all paperwork signed and in your child’s backpack the night before.

  • my best school tip is to prepare the night before. lay out all clothes, pack all backpacks, get as much of the breakfast together as you can, etc. it helps. even when we have woke up late, we have all of this done and we are just fine

  • tip – change schedule two weeks before school starts. Go to bed a designated our, etc. so when it starts, ti will be easy on everyone.
