Kids Frugal Fun: Edible Play Doh

Each week I bring you a kids craft that is fun, educational, and frugal! This week we have 2 “fun” holidays that I couldn’t resist-September 13th is National Peanut Day and the 16th is National Play Doh Day. So this week’s craft is edible play doh using peanut butter. Since I know there are many children with peanut allergies, I have included a non-edible play dough recipe that is peanut free.

Kids Frugal Fun: Learning with Pizza

Each week Momondealz bring you a kids craft that is fun, educational, and frugal! September 5th is Cheese Pizza Day (not national pizza day) so I couldn’t let a day honoring my favorite food pass by without having some fun with it-plus, pizza has lots of educational activities! I picked a simple but fun activity that can help with cutting and gluing skills (very important in kindergarten and beyond).

Kids Frugal Fun: Puppets

Each week MomonDealz brings us a craft that is fun, educational, and frugal. With Labor Day quickly approaching, I thought it’s a perfect time to teach your child about community workers and discuss that people work to make money (a Virginia Standard of Learning for kindergarten). August 26th is also National Dog Day so I was sure to include a dalmation puppet to go along with the fireman! You can also view past Kids Frugal Fun Crafts HERE.
