Tea Collection for Back to School (Giveaway)

tea collection fall 2012

Little sister is looking sharp in her Adorable Dots TShirt Dress with leggings, and big sister loves the fun blue stripes in her Rohkea Stripe Playdress. They look gorgeous, feel comfortable, and can play all day with these outfits.

There are brands my kids love to wear- and the reasons they love to wear them are the same as mine- they are comfortable, they can play in them, and they are fun to wear.  Tea Collection has once again brought a gorgeous line of clothes to the “table” for Fall 2012- gorgeous patterns, colors, soft fabrics, classic cuts, clean lines, and more.  The kids are happy in Tea Collection- they are always comfortable, they are “different” than what everyone is wearing at school, and most importantly,  they can mix and match their Tea Collection items.

Not really thrilled about posing, but tolerating. He really loves this outfit- comfy pants, with pockets for acorns, cars, Lego figures, and whatever else he can fit in there…and the hoodie has bright colors and looks “cool” so he’s happy. He’s just not wanting his photo taken by anyone, anywhere right now!

My son’s been so excited about his new outfit.  The terry pants are super comfortable, as is the shirt (the Tea Collection t shirts we have are always the ones he reaches for first, they just feel so cool, so soft to wear).  The Peli Stripe Hoodie is full of fun, bright colors, but definitely cool enough for my big kindergarten kid!  The boys’ items are available in size S (6-12 months) to 12 years.

Can’t stand another minute of modeling. Poor kid. I let him off the hook after this. He’s wearing the Fire Brigade Shirt and French Terry Cargo Pants. Comfy enough for the playground, nice enough for church.

Big and Little Sister are both always happy to make fashion shows, and they are ecstatic about the new dress and legging sets from Tea Collection.

tea collection girls fall dress

Now that she’s 7, she’s suddenly wanting blue, blue and more blue, and nothing pink. She’s so happy with the Life in the Trees Dress (sizes from xs/3 to6 mo-12y)

The girls’ line from Tea Collection comes from size xs (3-6 months) to 12 years.  They are sized quite generously, and I’d be very surprised to hear a little girl didn’t get at least 2 sizes of wear from her dresses and leggings.  These clothes hold their shape and don’t shrink.  They don’t fade in the wash. They are made to last, and last they will.  We’ve shared some with a friend, who’s daughter has now outgrown them, and they are back in our house looking good as new! The broad range of sizing means that you can find stuff for many years to match or coordinate the kids  if they are up for that as much as mine are!

While the Tea Collection line is definitely not bargain-priced, you can find great deals, and buying combinations will help you to get the most bang for your buck.  The Birds & Stripes 5 piece set comes with the three dresses you can see on my older daughter as pictured above, plus striped leggings and a pair of solid leggings.  Lots of fun mix and match! That’s 3 full outfits for $128.  I’m ok with spending that when I know without hesitation that my younger daughter will be able to wear these outfits when she’s in that size.

The girls adore their Mikko Floral Bubble Dresses, and so do I.

Tea Collection started with the vision to bring modern design and worldwide culture to children’s fashion. They’ve held true to that vision over the past 10 years, and take it a step further with their endeavors to support The Global Fund for Children.

We donate all proceeds from our Little Citizens line of clothing to GFC. We also sell a variety of GFC’s children’s books on our site, including “To Be an Artist.” A few times a year, we give back 20% of all online sales during our GFC Days. We also helped fund their 2010 International Center of Photography fellowship. Learn more about the photography fellows and their wonderful work. We continue to look for new ways to support the Global Fund for Children. Coming soon, we’ll be launching a new website feature where you can add a small donation to GFC with any order.

Something I just learned about Tea Collection is that they’ve taken a twist on school fundraisers.  I’m all for fundraising to support our schools, but to be honest, many folks would rather buy something like clothing their children will need anyway and have a percentage of the sales go back to the school.  I’d love to support our schools this way!

You can help your school just by shopping for your favorite globally-inspired kids clothes from Tea. We created Tea’s School Days Program to expand our charitable efforts and give back to schools in a bigger way.

How does it work? We’ll provide your school community with a specialized promo code that will donate 15% of the order total back to your school. With the code, you’ll also get free ground saver shipping on any order for 48 hours.

How does it add up? We’ll donate 15% of every single order placed using the code goes back to your school (pretty cool). For example, if 10 people from your community place an order of $100, Tea will write your school a check for $150. The more people shop, the more we donate. And there’s no limit. It’s that simple. Requests to be part of Fall School Days must be submitted by 10/8/2012 at 11:59 pm PT. Please understand that we receive many requests and may not be able to respond to each individually. We will only respond to organizations that fit within our charitable giving requirements. Please, no phone calls.

The 2012 Fall School Days will be held on October 10 & 11.
