If you have ever had ants, cockroaches, ticks, mites or termites, you understand how very UNwelcome they are. Even the most gracious hostess in the world isn’t going to open her arms and door to her home to these “guests,” no matter what the occasion.  No offense to these critters but they are, by nature, a destructive lot and kind of need to be stopped before they get to the door.  Unfortunately, most of the time we’re unaware of our visitors before they’ve already crossed the threshold-either directly through the door or in other, more sneaky and most definitely destructive ways.

There are many things you can do to prevent these pests from moving in, like amending the soil near your affected area by adding live matter- compost or rotted manure, placing strong magnets around the area, and others, but sometimes, no matter what you do, they come anyway.  That’s when you have to call in professionals like Terminix (Which gets expensive fast- but click to save $50 on Terminix Pest Control Services).  Once undesirable pests are in your home, they don’t like to leave without a fight!!

My apologies if anyone is feeling any bit “oogly” about this post. I get that way too!!

This post is brought to you by Terminix.  Opinions are my own.
