I am over the top excited for today. Not only will we be attending the red carpet premiere of #Chimpanzee, Disneynature’s newest film, we will also have the chance to interview Dr. Jane Goodall, the McCain sisters, the directors of the film and more…it promises to be an amazing day!! When we arrived here at Global Resort Homes yesterday, we were met in each of our bedrooms with our very own Oscar plush, Chimpanzee book and reusable shopping tote. Having seen the movie, I can tell you I do not know of anyone who won’t fall instantly in love with little baby Oscar- he’s so sweet and innocent. The chimps absolutely draw you in and I’m in awe of how emotionally connected I felt to the chimps throughout the entire film!! (Wait for my review next week!)
In celebration of the film coming next week, one reader will win a Chimpanzee prize pack including the Oscar plush, the book and the reusable tote.
To enter: Simply leave me a comment and tell me how YOU work on conservation in your life. That’s it. One entry. You can come back each day and leave an additional comment if you would like extra comments.
This giveaway will end on THURSDAY April 19th and I need to send the winner info by 8PM EST on Friday, April 20th (the day the movie is released!!). Giveaway is open to US and Canada.
No compensation was received for this post. I was invited on this press trip and all expenses were paid for.

Conservation is just an everyday part of our lives. For example, we’ve been doing some major landscaping on our 3 acres, but we prefer instead of buying plants, shrubs and stone, mulch, etc from the nursery, we have harvested EVERYTHING from the land that is already there. We’ve made natural stone walkways, built a 1500 gallon pond out of the natural stone, rescued our fish from the bait shop, transplanted native trees and flowers and simply brought out all the natural beauty which was already there. We used the cedar trees we harvested to make all our beds, dinind room table, support beams in the house and dressers. Living with nature to us is the most natural thing we can think of to do in our lives. Oh, yeah, and we even adopted a blind deer that mama deer abandoned in our yard last Spring!
