Don’t Forget Dad: Bulldog Security Remote Car Starters (Giveaway)

My husband insists on my van being parked in our 1 car garage.  That means all winter his car is covered in snow and freezing cold when he gets in to head to work, and in summer, its blazing hot when he gets in.  Not so fun.  Being able to treat him to a nice surprise like a remote car starter is such a super Father’s Day surprise!  Now he can just push a button while he finishes getting his things together for work and saying goodbye to us, and head out to a comfortable vehicle no matter what time of year.  A far more pleasant option than getting into a car that’s been sitting in the direct sun for 9 hours on black pavement while he’s at work!!

The ModelRS1300 Remote Starter from Bulldog Security with alarm and keyless entry is made for the DIY guy (which in itself is a fun gift for my husband- he loves projects!!)  They do have links to find someone local to you who can do the installation for you on their site, as well.

What you get in the package:

2 Four Button Extended Range Remote Transmitter

ALARM with Keyless Entry and Trunk Release

  • Programmable Cold/Hot Start
  • Up to 25 Minute Run Time
  • Parking Light Confirmation
  • Pit Stop Mode
  • OEM Style Alarm/Panic System
  • Toll-Free Tech Support
  • Install Kit & DVD Included
  • If you opt to install this yourself, you have a DVD included with your starter and there’s also a toll-free tech support line listed on the packaging.  There’s also a help video right on the Bulldog Security site that’s easy to navigate.  My husband has installed remote starters before on other vehicles we’ve had, including Toyotas, which we have 3 of right now. You do need to be cautious and take your time to ensure you do things properly but by following directions carefully most people could do this install.  (I say most, but don’t include myself.  With any sort of wiring or mechanical things that may end up not working I prefer to keep him company and bring drinks when he asks for them to actually installing things….)  Were my husband not able to do this, I can assure you that for me, no matter how simple the instructions, I’d be calling a professional to get this job done.  I may have skills in fixing things but I don’t dare touch cars.  Too expensive when I forget to put a part back in!!

Want to surprise someone you love (or yourself!!) with a remote starter?  This unit is on sale for June only for $89.99 down from $119.99.  I love sales!!
