>KT Tunstall “Tiger Suit” Review

KT Tunstall‘s third album, Tiger Suit, was released this Tuesday, October 5th!  The album heralds the beginning of a new musical adventure for the multi-platinum, Scottish-born singer and songwriter.

Aside from loving that she’s Scottish, I am really enjoying this CD.  Its a bit different than most of the music I find myself tuning into, and more like what my husband enjoys, but I think we all need to spread our wings a bit at some point and time.  I’m glad I did.

KT has a nice, upbeat feel to her music, while sounding kind of…well, folk meets techno.  I can’t figure out another way to describe it but when I hear it, thats what I think.  The kids are loving it too.  Baby B loves music and her hips sway whenever she hears music (even at church!) and its fun to see how she reacts to new songs.  This may be one of my new cleaning/cooking/get things accomplished around the house CDs!!  I am loving “Come on Get In” and “Glamour Puss” a lot, although the kids seem to enjoy “Lost” the most.

This is good driving in the car music, for me, as well.

The packaging this CD came in is great- made from 60% PCW.  No plastic jewel case for me to forget is on the seat of the car and sit on.

Her rollicking first single “Fade Like A Shadow” is already a Top 20 hit at radio.  Check out the video here.
