I don’t know about you all but the cost of our gas and groceries climbs annually- and I’m not talking about the kids getting bigger and eating more food, I’m talking about the price of everything going up. Just two? years ago, milk wasn’t even $3.00 a gallon. I often got it for $1.99 or $2.49 a gallon. Now? $3.99 at best on sale, or more!! We go through 2 gallons a week…at least…frequently more…that extra few dollars may not seem like a lot but that is only one grocery item, out of many…and those dollars add up quickly over months, and subsequently, years. This is one of the reasons I’m so drawn to using credit cards that offer cash back programs. We do use a credit card for absolutely everything we are able to each month, and then pay it off monthly, so that we can get the cash back percentages to offset some of the costs. It’s kind of like a coupon…sort of?! You KNOW I use coupons, and spend wisely, but even still, costs are rising!!
With Blue Cash Everyday you can earn unlimited cash back – 3% on supermarkets, 2% on gas and department stores and 1% on all other purchases. Start earning right away, with no rotating categories and no limit to the cash back you can earn!
I just calculated that if we used Blue Cash Everyday, we could have earned $21.00 back this month alone- I think I estimated that we spent $300 on gas and $500 on groceries this last month- can you imagine multiplying that percentage times 12? We’d get an estimated $252 back in a year!! That’s a half of our monthly grocery bill!
