Micropro 48-piece Microscope Set 50x, 100x, 150x, 300x, and 600x magnifications With the GeoSafari MicroPro, young scientists can investigate everything from cells to crystals! Perfect for individual or classroom use, the glass eyepieces and power settingfrom 50x to 600x provide users with superior precision viewing. The built-in light and rack and pinion focusing help deliver bright, clear images. The 48-piece kit has professionally prepared slides and everything users need to make their own specimen slides. Not a toy, but a scientific instrument, the GeoVision MicroPro includes high-quality components and features that make it appropriate for science learning at any age.

Wow, what another great science toy from Educational Insights!  My boys are really into anything related to nature and science.  This microscope was right up their alley.  They have other “kiddie” microscopes already, but my oldest was ready to move on to something a little more advanced.  This 48 piece set is just perfect!  He is only 5 years old, but with a little supervision he is able to prepare his own slides and view his creations with up to 600x magnification.  He loves that this Micropro microscope is so “grown up”.  He loves pretending that he is a scientist, and making his own slides just adds a whole new level of excitement to the activity.  I love a toy that fosters learning and imagination.  This microscope is perfect in both regards.  It is also very durable, which is crucial in a house with 3 boys!  I highly recommend this product for any parent or teacher looking for a more advanced microscope set.
