“How I Fought And Beat a Monster of a Stain” Contest & a FREE Book just for entering!

Clorox has a really fun contest going right now called the  “How I Fought And Beat a Monster of a Stain Contest” which ends April 20.  We’ve all had at least one stain in our lives that gets under our skin, so to speak- my biggest stain issue was early last summer- I’d gotten these adorable rainbow striped dresses for my girls to wear, and a shirt for my son  that was the same green as some of the stripes, to have the kids’ pictures taken together. It was all planned out…until I went to get the outfits together a week  before the photo shoot.  To my horror, my older daughter’s dress must have had a damp something spilled onto it, and I’d not noticed- so it sat a few days and had moldy spots on it. I was crushed.  I googled, I tried home remedies, store bought rememdies- nothing worked.  Facebook friends came to the rescue- a soak with some stain remover paired with another product over night, a wash cycle and an hour in the sun got the stain OUT.   I was relieved, to say the least.  Had I not been so stubborn about that darn stain, I wouldn’t have this photo to enjoy:

  • I remember an intense scene of a 4-5yr old me in my birthday dress. I tripped and fell into the muddy gutter/street and was in tears. I’m sure that’d be a great story for my mother in enter.

  • oh boy! i have plenty of stories with 4 dogs!
