MagicWhiz.com- a one stop magic store!

I’m fascinated by all things magic.  I always have been.  I’ve spent hours trying to figure out and understand the tricks people are trying to explain- forget it.  My mind does not work that way.  I don’t mind though, I’m happy to be mystified by the process.  I can tell my kids are following closely in my footsteps- a friend had a magician at her daughter’s birthday party not too long ago and they were, like almost every other child in the room, rivited.  One of my nephews is in high school, and he’s into magic as well.  I’m actually thinking of sending this post link to his mom to help make her life easier when its time to shop for his birthday…

I recently discovered this cool magic shop called Magic Whiz, and its great- kind of a one stop shop for all things magic.  This is great if you are someone like me who would not have the first clue where to even begin to browse!!   There are all sorts of categories to shop from- by interest, by props, and most importantly, by skill level.   There are DVD’s, books, card sets, props, items for stage magic and street magic (I had no idea there were so many different kinds…but then, I’m still impressed when someone pulls a quarter from behind my ear!).

This site would have come in very handy when we were shopping for a friends’ son’s 5th birthday a few weeks ago!!  He’s very interested in magic tricks and I would have loved to see his face when he discovered he had one of his own to entertain everyone with!!

I did notice there is a sale section although currently nothing is in it.  I had to look, I do love my bargains!!  (Does that mean you’d buy the kit and it would be a one eared bunny coming from your hat?)

Are you like me?  Are you still impressed by a quarter being pulled from behind your ear- or are you tougher to trick!?!?  Tell me!!

  • I’m impressed by anything! I can’t do any type of magic! This would be so neat to use and my daughter would absolutely love it:)

  • I am still impressed by all kinds of magic. I remember being so excited when they had that magic revealed show on tv. You know the one where the masked magician revealed the secrets of magic. I was so into the whole entire show. And even with the explanation, I am still very very impressed with the trick. Just goes to show that everyone loves a good trick even if it is just that, a trick.
