>Misikko: Hana Shine Shield & Chi Silk Fusion Review & Giveaway- Cool for School

0 Flares 0 Flares ×

>I’ve spent much of 2010 trying to get my hair into better condition.  Better condition as in, I hadn’t highlighted nor colored it in several years, and it was a dark chestnut brown, and very much without style.  In early March my friend Ally introduced me to her hair salon, and I started the road back to having presentable hair again.  Yay, Ally!! (Love ya!!0

So having my hair colored and highlighted means its a lot dryer than it used to be, and I was finding that even with proper hair care products, the ends felt dry and it seems like they were always tangled…like my 5 year olds.  Not great.  When Misikko sent me the Hana Shine Shield Treatment and Chi Silk Infusion, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but oh, was I surprised.

When I first opened the Hana Shine Shield Heat Therapy Treatment I was pleasantly surprised at how good it smelled!! Not a strong smell, but a nice one.  My husband even commented.  I only took a tiny bit out – and couldn’t believe that was ALL the product I needed!!  I was impressed right away with how silky and smooth my hair felt.  My kids have even commented on how nice my hair is to touch lately.  I have been using the Hana for about a month already and it doesn’t even seem like I’ve used any from the bottle!!  You can use it with or without styling products and tools like a flat iron (my next hair purchase) or blowdryer.

I think the secret to Hana’s success is the Jojoba oil as an ingredient, which is such an amazing oil.

Hana Shine Shield Features:

  • Lightweight leave-in conditioning therapy
  • Designed to protect and restore both hair and scalp from environmental and styling stress
  • Jojoba absorbs quickly without a greasy feel for thorough deep conditioning
  • Jojoba naturally dissolves soil, removing build-up from other styling products to leave hair clean & supple
  • Jojoba naturally excels at thickening keratin layers, bringing out your hair’s natural color overtones, highlights and brilliance
  • Periodic use over time is proven to advance the quality of your hair & the health of your scalp
The only other thing I’m going to tell you about this Shine Shield is that you really should consider trying it if you haven’t already.  I LOVE it.

The other product that Misikko sent me to try out is their Chi Silk Infusion.  I’ve been using the Chi a lot this week as it’s been super rainy and really humid- perfect for frizzing my hair out.  The Chi is such an awesome leave in conditioning treatment!!  I’m sold!!  I love the small size of this bottle- a mini giant, is what I think of the Chi.  This is the perfect bottle for keeping in your gym bag, or for travelling.

What I like most about the Hana and Chi products is that they are both easy to use, and you only need a tiny bit.  Sure, you may pay more to get the products in house, but using such a small amount means buying less often- which means spending less (or maybe the same, but its a better quality).   I can’t stand when you buy an inexpensive hair care product, but in order to get the desired effect, you have to use a large amount.  When you look at it that way, its not really a bargain anymore to buy the less expensive brands.

I’m sold.  A full convert.  Now that I’ve seen what these products can do, I’m not going back.  No way.  My hair feels pampered!!  I think it also settles into my haircut shape easier when I’m styling it, too.

The Hana treatment is on sale right now for $29.99 from $49.99.  The Chi sells for $12.99- but if you buy them both together you pay just $27.99!!

Misikko has offered one of my readers the same products that I got to try!!  You are going to LOVE them!!
