We aren’t the biggest football fans in our house (except for Superbowl) but we are big UCONN fans and love to watch both the men’s and women’s teams play. One thing that is always on our Game-Day Party Menu is either buffalo chicken pizza. We can combine our love of pizza with our love of buffalo wings and marry the two. It is Pizza Perfected for sure!!
When we make our Buffalo Chicken Pizza we go easy:
Boboli whole wheat pizza crust
Jar pizza sauce
crumbled bleu cheese
precooked chicken (you can buy this way, i just like to keep cooked chicken breast on hand for salads, pizzas, etc at lunchtime)
TABASCO® Original Red
Preheat the oven, flatten the dough (toss it if you are feeling fancy), spread sauce and cheese
Toss chicken in a ziploc with 1/4 c Tabasco Original Red, 1 TBSP melted butter and ZIP closed – shake to coat
Put buffalo chicken onto pizza and sprinkle some bleu cheese crumbs on top.
Bake at suggested time for your dough and enjoy. Be warned, there will likely not be any leftovers!!
My husband, of course, could eat Tabasco’s Original Red on just about every food there is. I’ve seen him put it in soup, he always puts it in our omelets, on meats, on side dishes…the man loves his Tabasco. He loves the extra depth the heat brings to dishes!! My kids love it to- even my 1 year old!!
