The oldest of our little boys is getting ready to start school. I can hardly believe that he is old enough for head start. Where does the time go? I know he’s ready to go though even if I’m a little nervous about sending him off. Thanks to Gymboree for sponsoring today’s post with some fab outfits for my little scholar!
A big part of growth and development in little ones comes from creative expression. Learning to write, color, and paint helps children develop so many skills and physical abilities yet many children don’t have access to basic supplies like crayons, markers, and paint.
Right now through September 7th Gymboree is teaming up with DonorsChoose.org to bring coloring supplies to students nationwide. The Gymboree Let’s Color Together program is outfitting classrooms around the country with coloring supplies, granting the more than 100,000 requests made by teachers for the paint, crayons, markers, pens and paper that they currently cannot afford.
The money donated goes to projects in the highest-need schools in the donor’s community that has the least amount of time remaining before the project request expires. Even $1 supplies a child with a pack of crayons for the year. You can donate today to a school in your community. You can get involved by donating at Gymboree stores, Gymboree outlet stores, and Gymboree Online.
Gymboree makes cute, colorful, quality clothing and accessories for children. I love that they have cute things for my boys. It seems like cute girl clothes are easy to find but I want my little guys to look adorable especially as Orin starts school. Gymboree believes that kids should be kids – free to laugh, dance, dream and explore. Every day the imagination of a child inspires them to create great clothing.
This year alone, 1.7M students are in need of arts & crafts supplies. That’s why Gymboree is teaming up with DonorsChoose.org to bring coloring supplies to students nationwide. Donate today to a school in your community, and help give kids a brighter future.
