>”Get Ready” with Softsoap and American Public Health Association, and prevent the spread of cold and flu!

>Softsoap brand has teamed up with the American Public Health Association (APHA) to create unique “Get Ready” hand washing timers that easily attach directly to Softsoap brand soap pumps. When pressed, the timers play a fun song to help children stay engaged for a full 20 seconds to properly wash away germs. Pair these fun hand washing timers with the Softsoap Foam Works Spongebob and Dora the Explorer Hand Soaps, and children are sure to be excited to spend at least 20 seconds washing their hands!

We got to try this timer with the Dora and Spongebob soaps recently, and it’s been great.  The kids are actually ENJOYING washing their hands, and actually have started trying to outwash the other- so they are going longer than the song!   They are also loving having kid character soap dispensers in the bathrooms.

This is so easy to slip atop of your Softsoap (and we’ve tested on a few other soap dispensers we have) pump and its ready to use.  That easy.  Kids press the top of it and voila!  A funky version of “If You’re Happy and You Know It” plays for as long as they should be washing.  As we say in our house, easy, peasy, lemon squeezy!

The APHA is all sold out of their timers but you can purchase a similar one here.
