>I’m trying to lose weight, as you know, and one of my ‘items’ I can add into my Nutrisystem plan at breakfast time and snacktime is a Dairy or Protein.  I am not a huge fan of yogurt by itself- but a smoothie?  That I can get into!!  I also have found many times that a smoothie gives you the feeling of a full breakfast (or snack) without a big fuss- which is great for when it’s super hot outside or you are feeling rushed (who isn’t these days?).

Yoplait® Frozen Smoothies Blueberry Pomegranate is a light, fruity, delicious way I’ve been able to add both protein and fruit into my day, without much effort- and by giving myself small portions, I am able to enjoy a smoothie twice a day, feeling full and refreshed.  Or rather, I would be able to, but my kids insisted on trying my smoothies and wouldn’t you know, they love them too.  I know I shouldn’t complain that they are loving these because they are so good for you but I wasn’t wanting to share!!  Oh well,  There are far worse things in life.

The new Yoplait® Frozen Smoothies are found in your grocer’s frozen fruit section, and come in a few other flavors besides the Blueberry Pomegranate.  Making them in a KitchenAid blender was super simple, super quiet, and super quick.

This is how easy it is to make these frozen smoothies:

(forgot to take pics of the Blueberry Pomegranate so here are pics with the Strawberry Banana!)

Open Packet

Pour into Blender

Measure 1 cup fat free milk

Pour milk into blender

Put top on blender (hey, not everyone would remember this!)
Press “smoothie” and watch your delicious treat created before your eyes.  60 seconds later, pour into a glass, go into hiding, and enjoy by yourself.  OR, pour into a glass, sit at the table, and have 3 kids climbing all over you to have some.

She’s very happy she got to have some smoothie of her own!!!
