Updated Straight Talk plans and promotions

Straight Talk has some new updated plans and great promotions going right now and they wanted me to let you all know about them! I’m really excited about the new plans- well, one is updated, one is new- but I’m still excited!

New and Updated Straight Talk Plans:

Updated! With the updated $45 30-day plan you get Unlimited* nationwide talk, text and data (high speed data for the first 3.0 GB of data use)

Now, with 10X more data than the other guys, they bring us  3.0 GB of high speed data each month

After reaching 3.0 GB of high speed data, data speeds will be reduced for the remainder of the 30-day cycle

Also updated! Straight Talk also launched an updated plan for casual users – $30 a month for 1,500 minutes of talk, unlimited texting and 100 MB of data (plan not compatible with most smartphones)

Each Saturday in May, you can visit your local Walmart wireless center to learn more about Straight Talk. Find out what you want to know and take advantage of the free gift card with purchase promotion when you buy a Samsung Galaxy Centura or Galaxy Discover from Straight Talk through May 31, 2014. Have some FUN with it, you guys!! Be silly and creative!

Remember, you can also bring your own phone over to Straight Talk.  I’ve had an iPhone with Straight Talk for 3 years now (give or take) and I’ve been thrilled with my service.  Both locally and when I travel with family or media trips, I’ve been extremely pleased with my coverage and, of course, the awesome pricing that comes with Straight Talk.  I’m an Ambassador for Straight Talk this year, but I’ve been a customer for a few more years, and will continue to be for a long time.

Have you thought about breaking up with your cell phone contract and moving to Straight Talk?

This post is brought to you by our friends at Straight Talk as part of my Ambassadorship with the brand.  Opinions are my own.

  • Straight talk seems like a great alternative for those looking to avoid wireless contracts but still keep updated phones.
  • What great and affordable options!
    • I hit the button before finishing! Not everyone can afford a large cell phone plan, but these days they are nearly mandatory. It makes you think back 20 years ago when you actually had to call a land line. How did we survive??
  • Looks like a lot of savings. We have AT&T and the price always seems to change and raise a bit.
  • YES, the thought of no contract is definitely appealing. I hear great rates too...plus that gift card deal is enticing
  • That is a great deal! That could save people a lot of money!
  • I like the pricing on these plans! I don't particularly care for data speeds being reduced after only 3 GB, though. That's kind of the standard, though. I keep saying that I need to switch providers. I'll consider this. Can't beat that price!
  • Entering the contest is a great way to try it out. The plan sounds super affordable though!
  • Sounds like a great alternative to a traditional cell phone plan. The prices are very reasonable too.
  • These plans sound so much more reasonable than what we are paying. We've got quite a while before we can leave our contract!
