Hasbro’s Fun on the Run Games: Guess Who? (Giveaway)

Hasbro has several Fun on the  Run games, including Guess Who? which is small, easy to store, and just as fun as the original sized version.  My niece Sam introduced me to Guess Who about 20 years ago- such a fun game, so simple to play, and doesn’t take a ton of time (which is really key with the younger game players in my experience).  I am pretty excited that my oldest is old enough to start playing games like this- I’m a huge fan of the preschool games and all but I’m also ready for something new!!

Kooky characters are on deck for a super-fun guessing game! Play anywhere or everywhere with these portable game units and get the guess fun going. Ask your partner yes or no questions to narrow down your options. Is it a woman? No. Does he wear glasses? Yes! You’re getting closer and closer to figuring out who he is! Race your partner to figure your character first. When the right character pops into your mind first, you win! When the game is over, clip the game units together for easy, on-the-go storage.

I need your help. Please, please oh please and thank you (in advance)

While I am over the moon excited and honored to be one of the 20 bloggers invited by Disney & Dreamworks to fly to Los Angeles in a few weeks for the screening of Winnie the Pooh and the red carpet premiere of Cars 2 (seriously, STILL waiting for someone to pinch me- is this really happening??)- I’m also a little bit freaked out.

You see, I’ve recently lost almost 30 lbs. I’ve lost inches in my measurements. None of my clothes fit anymore- they are too big. I know, this isn’t something to be upset about.

Tomo & Edie Review and Discount

Is there anything sweeter than a new baby in nothing but a diaper and a t-shirt? That’s how I like to dress my little ones in the beginning. Not only is it comfortable for the baby, but it makes for easy diaper changes. That’s why I just love the idea of the organic cotton baby kimono by Tomo & Edie. All of their kimonos are made with 100% organic unbleached cotton. This is a product that you can feel good about putting next to your baby’s skin. They even take the care to sew all the seams of the garment on the outside, so as not to irritate delicate skin. The garment is make to be loose fitting, so that it is easy to put on, but also does not irritate the umbilical cord. The kimono’s are available in a short, long and combination style. In addition to the unbleached cotton designs, they also offer the kimono in Kusakizome (a Japanese tie dye type technique). The dyes are made from natural ingredients such as tea leaves and flowers. The colors are gorgeous too, ranging from a clay color to a deep rich purple.

“Show Me How” through reading, crafting & cooking

My college years were spent in Plymouth, New Hampshire studying Early Childhood Education.  I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Studies with a minor in Child Development.  I did teach infants, toddlers and preschoolers for a while and now, obviously, I have my three kids who all love school, homework, and anything to do with books.  They are so happy when we work on a project together, and if it ties into a book we’ve read or a song we’ve sung, they are even happier.

With summer coming, kids will be out of school- and while I do think there is something to be said for the lazy days of summer, and not overplanning, I can tell you with certainty that my children will ask for projects, and want to do workbooks and worksheets- and since we read books together several times a day as it is, I’d just assume incorporate stories, crafts, snacks and songs into our days that complement one another, to broaden their understanding of the stories, and their meanings, in an age appropriate way (in short: lots of fun activities that go together).  I can almost promise you that if you will be spending any amount of time with children ages 2-5 this summer, you’ll want this book.  It’ll offer you tons of great story, craft and recipe options to pass those days away while spending time with the kids.

Changes and improvements for Infant’s and Children’s Tylenol Products

The makers of Infant’s and Children’s Tylenol products are making some changes and I applaud this.  They’ve made a conscious change to streamline their products so there are 2 formulas- one for infants and one for children.  I get why there were so many different formulas before- or rather, I can see why there were (I’m not saying I agree with them) but quite frankly, a parent who’s had sleepless nights due to a sick child could very easily misread a label and grab the wrong product- an innocent mistake that could ultimately harm their child.  I think going to the single concentration for both the infant and children formulas is a smart move and I’m giving a thumbs up to Tylenol for doing so.   Infants’ TYLENOL® will be available with a new bottle that has a protective opening and a new push‐in‐syringe, and Children’s TYLENOL® products will continue to include specially designed dosing devices appropriate to the age of the child.

Enhanced Bottle

Infants’ TYLENOL® will include SIMPLEMEASURE®, a new, enhanced bottle with a protective opening and push-in syringe designed to:

  • Provide even more accurate dosing and easier administration to infants
  • Allow for better control when dispensing with fewer spills
  • Further reduce the risk of children getting to the medicine in the bottle

The new, enhanced bottle with protective opening will be coming to Children’s TYLENOL® products soon.

TwirlyGirl® Reversible Twirly Racer Dress & UnderTwirl™

TwirlyGirl® sent my Busy girl a Reversible TwirlyGirl® Racer Dress in The Fairy Gardens print. They also thought to send a pair of Hoppin Heather UnderTwirl™ Shorts to keep her underwear as underwear and not visible to anyone when she’s twirling (which is nonstop when she wears this dress).
