TykeRider.com (Easy Rider Balance Bike & Little Nutty Helmet)

I think I’m becoming obsessed with bicycles. My son is 3 1/2 and desperately wants to be a big kid and ride a big kid bike, but his gross motor skills are not quite where he can successfully pedal a bike (with or without training wheels). Here’s where TykeRider comes in. They sent us the Early Rider for a review.

First of all, the bike itself is G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S. Gorgeous as in, very very well constructed hardwood bike frame. Beautiful craftsmanship. Beautiful design. The padded leather seat is absolutely in line with the style of this bike and looks so cool…and feels so comfy (I asked). I kid you not, when I see this bike I always hear “Get your motor runnin’…head on the highway!!” in my head. I think its the super cool flames branded on the sides. This bike is TOP notch for quality and design and I love it. More importantly- its built well and is very sturdy- so its safe. Kids like it because its COOL and, well, fun to ride on. Chili’s Triple Dipper $20 Gift Card Giveaway

If I could have any three foods I’d want on one plate, all together- well, I think I’d have to have 2 plates, one with healthier options (apples, honeydew melon and watermelon) and one with not healthy options- actually my dream plate would have three things that are available in the Triple Dippers combos offered at Chili’s- boneless buffalo wings, potato skins and southwestern egg rolls.  Delicious.  Lucky for me these ARE options and you CAN get them on a play together- which is exactly what we did one night last week!!  Delicious- and FILLING!  We didn’t really even need a meal with all of that food- lots of options to choose from, which wasn’t easy for us to narrow down, but so so yummy. I love being able to have a little of three appetizers instead of having to settle on just one.  [click to continue…]

DogCollarCharms.com with doggie pals #DogCollarCharms

Remember a few weeks ago I shared with you about my experience shopping for and ordering some cute dog collar charms from DogCollarCharms.com?  Well, part 2 of my assignment was to share 2 charms with dogs we met at the dog park- which isn’t really easy to do when the weather’s been horrendous so much lately, but we managed to share some with 2 dogs we’ve met while out and about town, that Tobey’s not known before- so we decided he could leave his lasting impression with both of these lovely ladies and share the charms with his handsome poochie face with Molly: [click to continue…]

Contigo AUTOSEAL® Bella Double Wall Insulated Mug Giveaway- Don’t Forget Dad

I’ve been banned from bringing any more water bottles into my house.  Not because no one likes them but because we have too many.  I can’t help it.  I hate to buy a bottle water or juice box when we can just as easily bring our own – and if a cute water bottle  means we’re more likely to grab water for a drink, then I find nothing bad about having several!  (Doesn’t each family member NEED 4 bottles for themselves?)  Plus, we’re on the go a lot.  Right now its back and forth to preschool, the grocery store, dance class, Daisy scouts and t-ball…soon it’ll be back and forth to camp and swim lessons, never mind the regular errands.

I have been using the Contigo  AUTOSEAL® Bella Double Wall Insulated Mug for several weeks now and I’m loving it.  First of all, this is the first time I’ve had a mug that was for *me* and not a hand me down from the hubby or a castoff of the kids.  Its a pretty purple and that means my husband won’t go near it, and its kind of hard for the littler kids in my house to use so they don’t want to use it- which means its just for ME!  I love fun colors and the ‘eggplant’ shade I received for this mug is great.  [click to continue…]

Our family day at Day Out with Thomas: Leader of the Track Tour 2011!

May 14th was a fairly cloudy, cool day here in CT.  Not exactly ideal temperature wise, but also a wonderful day to be out and about without having to worry about overheating.  My kids love trains- all three of them- I can’t tell you how many hundreds of hours we’ve logged building tracks, rebuilding tracks, racing trains…so the opportunity to go take a ride ON Thomas the train was not one we could pass up!

A Stork’s Studio 3D/4D Ultrasound Review Part 2

As promised, I am writing a follow up review of A Stork’s Studio 3D/4D ultrasound.  You can see my original review post here.  I first tried out this service when I was 26 weeks pregnant.  We got some great shots and were able to see the baby moving it’s legs and arms around.  The Stork’s Studio offers an Extended Plus Appointment ($219) which allows for two 30 minute sessions with CD’s and DVD’s.  I tried this service out and was lucky enough to visit them again for a second appointment.
