I came across this book one day when I was looking around the internet. I knew right away that it was a book I wanted to read. Yoga is a part of my daily life even if it is just doing a forward bend or downward facing dog before I go to work. YOGA BITCH is not just for those that practice yoga, anyone who reads it will be entertained. This book is insightful, funny and talks about yoga egos, commercialism and love.
YOGA BITCH is a yoga and travel based memoir. It is written in the style of a diary and follows the author through her two months yoga teacher training program in Bali. She finds herself unwilling to conform to their ritual of urine therapy until she gets “Bali belly” and has no access to antibiotics and her tongue starts to turn black.
